The European Commission appointed the 34 members of the European Energy and Transport Forum and their alternates on 5 October 2004. Over half the members' mandates of the Forum were renewed in order to guarantee continuity. The Forum is a consultative body set up by the Commission in 2002 to provide it with opinions and advice in the field of energy and transport from professionals and the parties concerned. |
