The first European forum on preventing drug abuse, organised by the Council of Europe's Pompidou Group, was held on 6 and 7 October 2004 in Yekaterinburg (Russian Federation). The Pompidou Group, which has 34 member states, is a major European forum taking a global and multidisciplinary approach to the problems of drug abuse and trafficking. |
