Make it simple, make it better

The Better Regulation Task Force, an independent advisory body set up by the UK Government, produced this report as a contribution to the programme of activity aimed at achieving better regulation in the EU. The report focused on three pieces of legislation, in particular: the Data Protection Directive (95/46), Food Labelling Legislation (2000/13 and others), Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control (IPPC) (96/61). It is the first of a series of three Task Force reports on better regulation in the European Union.
