Aviation growth ‘to hit green targets’

The UK Government's Environmental Audit Committee warned in a report entitled, 'Pre-Budget Report 2003: Aviation follow-up', released on 15 March 2004, that the rapid expansion of civil aviation will lead to the Government failing to reach its targets for cutting greenhouse gas emissions.
