Editorial says 'The controversy over Italy's maladroit nominee for the European Commission will become a real crisis, if a majority in the European Parliament choose on 27 October 2004 to express their disapproval of Rocco Buttiglione's views on homosexuality and marriage in the only constitutional way allowed them: rejection of the entire Commission'. Editorial goes on to urge the European Parliament to vote in the new European Commission.
