Press Release: Eurobarometer on Constitution: a positive attitude, but a lack of information

A special Eurobarometer poll realised between 27 October and 29 November 2004 among a sample of nearly 25.000 persons showed that more than half of the citizens of the European Union said they know little about the Draft Constitution and a third more declared they had never heard about it. At the same time the study also showed that the public opinion was rather favourable to the Constitution, but that the indecision level remained high in most countries.
