In the framework of the partnership of the European Commission and the most remote regions of the European Union, Danuta Hübner, European Commissioner responsible for Regional Policy, met with a delegation of Presidents of these regions, led by Paul Vergès, who is presiding the Conference of the Presidents of the outermost regions in 2005.
