Press Release: Green Week 2005: Commission invites school children to participate in competition

Preview of the Green Week schools competition for children aged between 6 and 16 years, which was part of the annual Green Week conference and exhibition, planned to take place from 31 May to 3 June 2005 in Brussels. In 2005 the competition highlighted the theme of climate change. Younger children were encouraged to create drawings and paintings illustrating their views about climate change, while older pupils were invited to submit a short digital video on the same subject.
