The European Commission on 16 March 2005 sent a reasoned opinion - the last step before a formal complaint to the Court of Justice is to be lodged - to Greece for failure to respect European legislation on aviation security. The aim of this legislation is to improve civil aviation security through reinforced measures including national quality control programmes. |
