The European Commission and the World Health Organisation (WHO) were hosting an international conference on Women, Children and Newborn Health at the Albert Borschette Conference Centre in Brussels, 4 May 2005. By hosting this conference, the Commission intended to enhance the EU's response to the unacceptable state of women's and children's health, particularly in Africa. |
