The European Commission on 15 June 2005 approved 26 programmes in 14 Member States to provide information on and to promote agricultural products in the European Union. The total budget of the programmes was to be €56.9 million, of which the EU was to contribute €26.1 million. For the first time programmes proposed by the new Member States were also approved (by Hungary, Poland and Cyprus). |
