Press Release: Anna Diamantopoulou participates in ‘Royaumont’ process in order to promote social and civil dialogue in south-eastern Europe

Anna Diamantopoulou, European Commissioner for Social Affairs, represented the Commission in Thessaloniki on 22.1.00 in a meeting of the ministers of labour of the countries participating in the'Royaumont' process for democracy and civil society in south-eastern Europe. The meeting discussed the results of an international conference of the previous day 21.1.00 organised by the Economic and Social Committees of the EU and of Greece on civil society and social dialogue as a basis for economic and social development.
