Council of Europe culture ministers back the technological revolution in book publishing

“A time for choices: towards a democratic policy for books and electronic publishing” is the theme of the discussions to be held by the Ministers of Culture of the 41 Council of Europe member States and 6 further countries signatory to the Organisation's Cultural Convention, at their colloquy in the Alte Oper, Frankfurt, on 16 and 17 October 2000, just before the opening of the Book Fair.
