Press Release: 15 months before Euroday Commission recommends wide range of measures to accelerate preparation for cash-changeover

In a Recommendation to Member States, professional organisations, banks and enterprises the Commission puts forward 20 concrete proposals aimed at accelerating preparations for the Euro cash-changeover. The proposals are drawn from a review of best practices across the euro-zone and from ideas promoted by user groups and other economic agents.
