UK to table fresh EU budget plan

UK Foreign Minister Jack Straw has said Britain will table new proposals in an attempt to end deadlock over the EU's 2007-13 budget. He was speaking after EU foreign ministers meeting in a 'Ministerial Conclave, Brussels, 7 December 2005, rejected a British proposal published on 5 December 2005, which would have cut development aid to eastern Europe
