International efforts are taking place to solve the dispute between Russia and Ukraine, 3 January 2006, over gas prices, which has disrupted supplies across Europe. One-third of EU gas imports, and one-fifth of gas used in EU comes from Russia. The Ukrainian pipeline network carries 90% of Gazprom's exports to West and Central Europe. |
