The New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) has unveiled plans to merge with the pan-European Euronext exchange, May 2006. Euronext controls the Paris, Brussels, Lisbon and Amsterdam exchanges, as well as the London-based Liffe international derivatives exchange. |
