Russia censured over Chechen man

The European Court of Human Rights has held Russia responsible for the disappearance and presumed death of a Chechen man, Khadzhi-Murat Yandiyev, in a landmark ruling, July 2006. The European Court of Human Rights notified in writing its Chamber judgment in the case of Bazorkina v. Russia (application no. 69481/01).
