The CEER is a 'not for profit association' which brings together the independent national energy regulators from the Member States of the European Union (EU) and European Economic Area (EEA). The CEER acts as a focal point for contacts between national energy regulators and is their interface at a European level with the European Commission, in particular DG Transport and Energy, DG Competition and DG Research, on energy issues. The overall aim of the Council of European Energy Regulators (CEER) is to facilitate the creation of a single competitive, efficient and sustainable internal market for gas and electricity in Europe |
