Press Release: Mergers: Commission approves proposed acquisition of joint control over Oy Ovako AB and Ovako Swenska AB by Hombergh, De Pundert and Pampus Industrie

The European Commission has cleared under the EU Merger Regulation the proposed acquisition of joint control over Oy Ovako AB and Ovako Swenska AB (the Ovako Businesses) of Sweden by Hombergh Holdings BV (Hombergh) of the Netherlands, W P De Pundert Ventures BV (De Pundert) of the Netherlands and Pampus Industrie Beteiligungen GmbH & Co KG (PIB)of Germany. The Commission concluded that the operation would not significantly impede effective competition in the European Economic Area (EEA) or any substantial part of it.
