	On 11 August 2017 the EEAS Spokesperson made a statement on the execution of a juvenile offender in Iran. On 10 August 2017, Alireza Tajiki was executed in Iran, after being sentenced to death in 2013 when he was 16 years old. He was convicted of murder and rape.
