Barrot must go

Editorial argues that European Commissioners must put transparency and candour first, and for this reason Jacques Barrot, who took up his post as Commissioner for Trade on 22 November 2004 and failed to disclose a suspended prison sentence (later quashed under a French presidential amnesty), should resign.
