As Danish voters went to the polls today (28 September) in a referendum on whether to join the euro zone, opinion polls indicated that the outcome was too close to call

A survey by the PLS research institute suggested 50.5% of Danes would vote yes, while 49.5% would vote no, while another by GfK showed supporters and opponents of the single currency running neck and neck, with 47% of the vote each. But a large of number were still undecided on the eve the poll.
