Blair and Brown set euro vote timetable

UK Prime Minister Tony Blair and UK Chancellor of the Exchequer Gordon Brown have drawn up a timetable for a euro referendum and are preparing to make a judgment, probably in 2002, about whether to call one. The favoured referendum date is autumn 2002, with the second choice spring 2003.
