The European Commission on 14 July 2005 published a Green Paper on the enhancement of the EU framework for investment funds (COM (2005)314 final (12.7.05) and SEC (2005)947). The Paper invited consideration and comment on a range of proposals aimed at boosting the efficiency of the single market for investment funds. Stakeholders were invited to comment by 15 November 2005 on the Green Paper.
