The European Commission published on 14 October 2004 the Flash Eurobarometer (158) report entitled 'Young people and drugs: changing attitudes in the Member States since 2002' which is based on two surveys of more than 7600 young people in 2002 and 2004. Results include the unvarying perception of the risk presented by different substances; perception of the risk presented by ecstasy and cannabis fluctuating widely from one Member State to another; more obvious link between consumption of alcohol, tobacco and drugs; increased effectiveness of information campaigns and of the use of the Internet as a source of information. |
