Blair deflected by euro row / Euro row blights Blair’s speech

There are signs of a renewed rift between UK Prime Minister Tony Blair and his Chancellor, Gordon Brown, over British entry into the euro. Mr Blair used a speech to the Confederation of British Industry on 5 November 2001 to deny any difference of opinion with Mr Brown.
