Dangerous product recalls hit record

Recalls of dangerous products, which have accelerated on the back of beefed-up European regulations stemming from the General product safety directive, have reached an all-time high.
According to data from the European Union, nearly half of all products that have been subject to product safety notifications to the European Commission over the past 18 months originated in China.
