Creating wealth from knowledge: The DTI five year programme

The UK Department of Trade and Industry's (DTI) five year programme, 'Creating Wealth from Knowledge', was published on 17 November 2004. The programme focuses on how the UK will develop a strong, modern knowledge based economy, which can meet the challenges posed by rapidly emerging economies and new technologies, and the need to transform the DTI to meet this new challenge.
