Date: 17/09/1998 has announced that the UK will enforce the EU ban on the Yugoslav national carrier JAT in view of Belgrade's responsibility for the acute humanitarian situation in Kosovo. The UK had previously warned that it would not be able to implement the ban, designed to punish Serbia for acts of aggression in Kosovo, for 12 months because of a bilateral agreement with Belgrade. |
