Eon and Enel declare peace to share out Endesa assets

Article reports that Enel and Eon, the Italian and German utilities, reached a backroom deal, 2 April 2007, to carve up Endesa under a peace plan to end their bitter €42bn (£28.3bn) fight for control of Spain's biggest electricity group.
