Press Release: Energy Commissioner Piebalgs welcomes the Euro Mediterranean Energy Forum that takes place today in Brussels

Energy Commissioner Andris Piebalgs has welcomed the positive results of the Euro-Mediterranean Forum convened on 21 September 2006 by the European Commission in Brussels. "The energy cooperation between the EU and the countries of the Southern Mediterranean represents a core contribution to the enhanced energy security in the Euro-Mediterranean region", said Commissioner Piebalgs.
