Cultural Eurobabble

While we're on the subject of things artistic, this week's Eurobabble award goes to Regional Policy Commissioner Monika Wulf-Mathies for the following definition of 'culture': “The cultural sector is characterised by growing, close and varied inter-relations between cultural life (public cultural and social institutions: theatres, museums, arts centres, historical urban/rural sites, arts and music schools, etc) and the cultural economy (music arts, architecture, crafts and trade, protection of historical monuments, tourism).” A very cultured response, we're sure you will agree.
