On 29.9.00 the UK government received four indicative bids for a 46% stake in the national air traffic services. The UK is the first country in Europe to seek to implement a partial privatisation of air traffic control services and the government is hoping that Nats will take a leading role in the eventual far-reaching restructuring of ATC provision across Europe. |
