An Area of Freedom, Security and Justice in Europe?

The Federal Trust convened in late 2006 an expert Working Group to consider recent (and future) developments in the field of Justice and Home Affairs, one of the most active - and politically sensitive - areas of European co-operation.
The Group was chaired by Professor Jo Shaw, Salvesen Chair of European Institutions at Edinburgh University, and met over the course of late 2006 and early 2007, before publishing its final report in summer 2007.
