Press Release: EFSA Board focuses on policy of transparency

The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA), on 11 September 2007, discussed a policy on Declarations of Interests to further bolster the internal mechanisms in place to safeguard the independence of its scientific work. The objective of this policy was to increase the transparency of the organisation and that of its scientists, senior staff and Management Board members.
