Call to put treaty on EU reform to voters / Majority wants EU treaty vote

An overwhelming majority of people in the European Union’s five biggest member states want the EU's treaty on institutional reform being finalised at an informal European Council, Lisbon, 18-19 October 2007, to be submitted to national referendums, according to an FT/Harris opinion poll published on the 18 October 2007.
