The European Commission has authorised under the EU Merger Regulation the planned creation of a joint venture in naval surface shipbuilding and related support services between BAE Systems plc and VT Group plc, both of the UK. The Commission concluded that the operation would not significantly impede effective competition in the European Economic Area (EEA) or any substantial part of it. |
