Brussels seeks accord on outside investors

European Union governments are striving to adopt a common approach to sensitive investments by non-European sovereign wealth funds, such as those of China, Russia and the oil-producing Gulf states. Article predicts EU Member States might make an announcement to this effect at the informal European Council, Lisbon, 18-19 October 2007.
