Press Release: Commissioner Andris Piebalgs committed to further develop energy cooperation with Russia

Following the EU-Russia energy dialogue meeting of 16 October 2007, which agreed on the 8th EU-Russia Energy Dialogue Progress Report, Commissioner Piebalgs delivered a keynote speech in the 'Second International Energy Week – Moscow Energy Dialogue'. Within the context of this conference, there was also a meeting at expert level during which EC experts gave a detailed overview of the EU energy liberalisation package.
