Regional policy Commissioner Danuta Hübner visits Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, in North-East Germany, at the invitation of Mr Harald Ringstorff, the Minister President of the Land. The visit marks the launch of the new programme for the region, with EU investment of €2.56 billion over the period 2007-2013. The Commissioner will visit projects in Rostock that demonstrate how the region has evolved since the early 1990s thanks to support from the EU. |
