Thomas Cook set to take on Commission

Thomas Cook, the international tour operator, is seeking more than £500m ($983m) in damages from the European Commission because of Brussels’ flawed decision to block the proposed merger of Airtours and First Choice nine years ago, it was revealed on 29 April 2008.
