Press Release: Mergers: Commission approves proposed joint venture between Bosch and Mahle

The European Commission cleared under the EU Merger Regulation the proposed acquisition of joint control in the newly created company Bosch Mahle Turbo Systems GmbH & Co KG by the German companies Robert Bosch GmbH and Mahle GmbH. The joint venture will be active in the research, development, manufacturing and supply of exhaust gas turbochargers for the motor vehicle industry. The Commission concluded that the concentration would not significantly impede effective competition in the European Economic Area (EEA) or any substantial part of it.
