The Agora conference, 'Investing in people: strategies for financing VET', took place in Thessaloniki, Greece on 19-20 May 2008. The conference re-examined efforts being made to improve public and private investment in vocational education and training (VET). It assessed progress and considered future steps. The conference also provided a forum for policy makers, researchers and practitioners to discuss current levels and patterns of VET expenditure, identify challenges and seek solutions. |
