The European Commission cleared under the EU Merger Regulation the proposed acquisition by A.P. Møller-Mærsk (APMM) of a 30% share in EUROGATE Container Terminal Wilhelmshaven GmbH & Co. KG and EUROGATE Container Terminal Wilhelmshaven Beteiligungsgesellschaft mbH (together the JadeWeserPort Container Terminal operating companies), both currently solely controlled by EUROGATE GmbH & Co. KGaA, KG (EUROGATE). The Commission concluded that the operation would not significantly impede effective competition in the European Economic Area (EEA) or in any substantial part of it. |
