Hungary prime minister rules out flat tax

Hungary's Prime Minister, Ferenc Gyurcsany, announced August 2008 an ambitious tax-cutting drive that would shave 1,200bn forints from the country's budget over the next four years, while staking his political future on getting his minority government's budget passed by parliament.
