EQF 2008: the trigger year for a framework for European qualifications

From 2008 on Europeans can look forward to benefiting from greater comparability of qualifications across the member states and beyond. The European Qualifications Framework
for lifelong learning (EQF) was adopted in April 2008. One of the key advantages is that within a couple of years, it should be easier for European citizens to get jobs or to sign up for courses outside the country where they studied.
