European businesses hit by tightened credit

European businesses are finding it harder to obtain credit from banks because of the global market turmoil, but no European banks seem to be in danger of collapse, Ernest-Antoine Seillière, president of BusinessEurope, the European employers’ association, said on the 17 September 2008.
