Europeans blame bankers for turmoil

Europeans believe bankers are most to blame for the global financial crisis of the autumn of 2008, but not that capitalism itself has failed. The October 2008 Financial Times/Harris opinion poll, published on the 20 October 2008 found widespread antagonism towards bankers and only modest support for taxpayer-funded bank bail-outs.
