The Sub-Committee, on 21 October 2008, held a discussion with Paul Rellis, Managing Director of Microsoft Ireland and President of the American Chamber of Commerce. It also welcomed a delegation from the Danish Parliament to discuss the role of national parliaments and the Danish scrutiny model, as well as Danish experience of opt-outs.
